I am deeply concerned about the recent developments in the United States. I believe in diversity, open borders, evidence-based sound policy, and a vivid and independent scientific community.
I support the initiative March for Science and invite my friends and colleagues in Sweden to join the supporting March for Science Stockholm.
To protest the travel ban, which, apart from being illogical and illegal, affects many of my friends and colleagues, I have signed the following pledge, and encourage you to do the same.
I am hopeful that the many voices that have been raised over the last weeks will be heard and that the developments change course for the better.
